Closing and scholarships at Beckmans

This week was the traditional end of the auditorium for all final-year students. Several scholarships were also awarded. Here we list this year's scholarship recipients!

product design   

  • Svenskt Tenns Design scholarship (SEK 10,000 and an exhibition in the store on Strandvägen this autumn) Anna Herrmann for the graduation project Joan – a wall luminaire.   
  • The Glass Factory (SEK 10,000 and two weeks stay in the glass cabin in Boda in Småland): Josefin Zachrisson   
  • Stockholmsmässan "Best of the Best" from all schools (exhibition opportunity at Formex in August): Kaori Agematsu, Olivia Tognelli Brontén, Molly Malmer and Asta Florestedt (both exhibition opportunity and SEK 5000).   

Fashion 

  • Swedish Fashion Council and TEKO (SEK 20,000): Fo Phan   
  • H&M (SEK 10,000 each): Adam Swärd, Erik Olsson and Jon Allensten    
  • Lindex (SEK 15,000): Jon Allensten    
  • Elobina (online store and production linked to Elobina's production system worth SEK 60,000): Emma Wåhlin

Visual Communication 

  • EQT Ventures (premierar den digitala sidan av formgivning och design, 15 000 kr): Mikaela Källgren för examensprojektet “Re:start”  
  • King's idea scholarship (SEK 15,000): Agnes Vannerus Lindblom for the degree project "The Pill"  
  • Bold (£1,000): Gabriel Fager Ferrari for his degree project Typsam   
  • Good Forces scholarship (Jacob Trollbäck, founder of New Division who works with sustainability in every way handed out the scholarship for the first time, SEK 10,000): Daniel Thor for the degree project "Environmental citizens"   
  • Stiftelsen de Grafiska Yrkenas Främjande (bästa projekt samtliga examensutställningar, 25 000 kr) Ludvig Östman för projektet “Avskärmad”    

Other 

  • Daniel Sachs scholarship (SEK 20,000): Anders Lindén for the degree project "Lost in memories"   
  • Anders Beckman's book scholarship: Sizar Alexis, Mira Bergh Edenborg, Jon Allensten, Sofia Isdahl, Carl Cavallius and Jonathan Jervelind   
  • Scholarship in artistic design (3 weeks of work at Villa San Michele): Kitty Schumacher, visual communication.   
  • Tom Hedqvist scholarship (former rector at Beckmans, SEK 40,000) to Adam Swärd, fashion, for the degree project "Mada".   
  • Beckmans College of Design scholarship (SEK 10,000 each): Johanna Lundberg, visual communication, Matilda Ström Ellow, product design and Adam Swärd, fashion.
