One year specializing in visual communication
Our 1-year preparatory course gives you the basics in subjects such as graphic design, typography, illustration and moving product design. The course prepares you to apply for higher design education. It is also suitable for those who want to take a step in their career, develop their skills or change the focus of their current work. How to apply to the Evening School
Applications to Beckmans Kvällsskola are made via the Slideroom application portal. There you create an account and then upload your work samples by August 22.
Cost of the Evening School
The fee for the academic year 2025/26 is 37 000 SEK. It is paid before the start of the course. The preparatory courses are not CSN-eligible. Through a collaboration with Human Finans, it is possible to divide your payment into 6 or 12 months. You can also split the payment over a longer period, but then interest will be added. Design scholarship
If you apply to Beckmans Kvällsskola no later than June 15, you have the opportunity to apply for the Design Scholarship that covers the cost of the course. Read more about the Design Scholarship and how to apply here.
