What is the Design Scholarship?
The Design Scholarship is a scholarship for those who want to take one of the three evening courses at Beckmans Evening School. The Robert Weil Family Foundation established the Design Scholarship so that everyone, regardless of background, would have the opportunity to accept an offer if they were offered a place.
The design scholarship covers the cost of the education, but also means that the scholarship recipient is given the opportunity to use the jury group as a sounding board during their studies.
Evening Classes
Beckmans Evening School is a one-year preparatory program specializing in product design, fashion, or visual communication. The program is grounded in the arts and offers a basic introduction to subjects such as furniture design, pattern composition, fashion design, photography, graphic design, and drawing.
Beckmans Evening School is accepting late applications. Please submit your application and portfolio by August 19.
How to apply for the Design Scholarship
- Apply to Evening School.
- Apply forthe Design Scholarship by May 31.
- Notification of the scholarship will be given shortly thereafter.
