Three Beckmans alumni nominated for LVMH Prize

For the first time, alumni from Beckman College of Design have been nominated for the prestigious LVMH Prize, Young Fashion Designers Award with their brands.

Rave Review and Samuel Gui Yang

One brand is Rave Review, founded by Josephine Bergqvist and Livia Schück, who met at the fashion program and graduated in 2016. Their brand Rave Review they launched the following year and there they combine remake and upcycling with high fashion level. The brand has shown its collections in Paris and Stockholm and most recently in Copenhagen. 

The other is London-based fashion brand Samuel Guì Yang founded by Erik Litzén, who graduated from the fashion program in 2012 along with Samuel Yang. 

About LVMH Prize 

The prestigious award means EUR 300,000 and support for the entire year from the luxury fashion group. The competition is open to competitors under the age of 40 who have produced at least two collections. This year, 1,700 brands were registered and 20 of these have now been selected for the semi-finals, which take place 27-28 February. Eight finalists will be selected by the 68(!) jury. The final will take place in June at the Louis Vuitton Foundation.
