Top names for Beckman's fashion show

Beckmans Swedish, fashion

Beckman College of Design strengthens its Fashion training program with a number of new recruits.

Ulrika Elovsson, who has a past as a material developer at, among others, Issey Miyake Reality Lab and currently has assignments for Hermès, is welcomed as a lecturer. The same goes for Linda Nurk, who has worked at the French haute couture houses Chanel and Givenchy. Martin Bergström is known for his amazing designs that start from nature, has come and gone at Beckmans as a teacher, and is now warmly welcomed back as a lecturer in pattern design.

Last but not least, Beckman College of Design says hello and welcome to the Swedish star designer Ann-Sofie Back who will be found both at the Fashion program and at the Department of Artistic and Contextual Studies, but also work as a teacher at Beckmans Kvällsskola.

-"My job as Headmaster is to ensure that students are given the best of the best in terms of teaching. The fact that designer Pär Engsheden is the head of the Fashion program means that I know the students are in safe hands. Now his team has been strengthened with fantastic names in fashion, and the fact that one of them can shout BACK TO SCHOOL does not make things worse, says Karina Ericsson Wärn, Headmaster of Beckman College of Design.

-"After just a few years as program director, I can clearly see how I and my team have created an attractive and strong fashion design education. The results are already visible internationally. With the new additions to my team, I see that we can achieve further success," says designer Pär Engsheden.
