Open call | Are you the new contemporary?
On the joint initiative of Stockholm Creative Edition, Svensk Product design (Ung Svensk Product design) and Beckman College of Design we invite you to participate in the exhibition New Contemporary - an opportunity for emerging designers.
The exhibition will take place at Sveavägen 8 during Stockholm Creative Edition from 18-21 May 2022, with great support from Vasakronan!
Who can participate?
If you have graduated in the last 5 years from a Swedish design school (bachelor and/or master level), you are welcome to exhibit works and objects such as furniture, lighting, textiles and handicrafts. Works at the intersection of design, art and crafts are also welcome!
Why are we doing this?
There is a great need for a platform to exhibit and sell their designs among emerging designers. The aim is to drive development and support designers by providing an arena where they, producers and other parts of the industry can come together. We want to strengthen the position of Swedish design on the international market and the opportunities for designers to reach new audiences.
