We show design here and now - a selection of courses that our students worked on during the fall are presented in three exhibitions:
- Design tools and methods: presentation of the course with lecturer Janne Loftén and the first years F27.
- Typography: Presentation of the course with lecturer Stefania Malmsten and the first years VK27.
- Graphic identity and communication: Presentation of proposal for degree identity 2025 with lecturer Peter Ström and the third years VK25.

Excellent Swedish Web Art

How can we preserve digital design and what determines which websites are worth archiving? Associate Professor Peter Ström/Visual Communication has researched the history of Swedish web design and its place in the visual cultural heritage.
Are We There Yet?

How the difficult to understand is made understandable with visual communication. In a collaboration with researchers at the Beijer Institute, Beckmans students have created communication about antibiotic resistance that has now ended up in an exhibition at the UN in New York. Lecturer Sophia Wood/Visual Communication talks about the collaboration.

Artistic processes and aesthetics as a form of knowledge. Assistant Professor Elisabet Yanagisawa/ Mode presents her PhD project in artistic research at HDK/Valand, University of Gothenburg.
Critical fashion practice

Lecturers Maria Ben Saad and Göran Sundberg discuss fashion as a space for critical reflection, political action and artistic freedom. The conversation is based on the Critical Fashion Project, a research project from Beckmans focusing on the relations between fashion design practice and critical thinking.
