Form student nominated for "Rising Star" by fair

Sizar was accepted as one of the young designers who will have the opportunity to exhibit in their own stand in Greenhouse during the Stockholm Furniture Fair. At the stand he will show the ItooRaba furniture series, which consists of a lounge chair, stool, side table and coffee table.

-Flera comes up and looks at my furniture and says it's nice to see something different, very daring, unlike what is exhibited by the big furniture manufacturers. Many people have expressed interest in working with me, but it remains to be seen how it develops," says Sizar. 

Positive but demanding to exhibit yourself 

Exhibiting at the fair has been rewarding, but also challenging, says Sizar. 

-"It's definitely been a positive experience, very fun but also energy consuming as I've had other projects at school in parallel with making my furniture to participate in the Greenhouse. Although it has been tough, it has been educational to interact with many national and international in the industry. And the attention I've received with the Rising Star nomination definitely helps motivate me to create more. It's been important for me to take risks and break away from the comfortable as I've had professions in the past that didn't challenge me. It has helped me grow both as a person and professionally," says Sizar.
