Formex Nova 2019 for the plant position Regrow
The plant scaffolding is one of the products that Beckmansstudenter has developed in the collaboration course given during the second year of the Form program and which Designtorget has chosen to include in its regular range.
Jury's motivation
"Sustainable design – sustainism – is more necessary today than ever. This year's honorable mention goes to the climate-smart product Regrow by Madeleine Nelson.Environmental commitment must today be with all of us and may well start at the sink. This product gives the vegetable life back and us give birth time and time again. Regrow is both thoughtful and ingenious. Simple? But it's the simplest thing that's the hardest thing to achieve."
The jury for Formex Nova 2019 consisted of Mats Widbom CEO Swedish Product design, Lotta Lewenhaupt, journalist and author, Kerstin Wickman, professor of design history and member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts. Konstakademien, Alexander Lervik, designer and entrepreneur, Anders Färdig, founder and CEO of Design House Stockholm, Klara Persson (Bolon) Design Sweden, deputy, Guest jury member in 2019 is Anna Holmquist, Folkform and also responsible teacher at Beckmans Kvällsskola product design.
