-Garments that end up in Vogue, furniture that is celebrated at Milan Design Week and new approaches to marine research together with the Beijer Institute. The students at Beckman College of Design create both fantastic contexts and innovative design. The fact that our design education is artistically based - with a strong emphasis on experimentation and playfulness, and of course including theory - is undeniably a successful concept. The graduating students are now showing their theses. You are welcome to take part in this year's graduation exhibition to see product design, function and maybe even some provocation, says Rector Karina Ericsson Wärn.
The curator of this year's exhibition is Marcia Harvey Isaksson, interior designer, exhibition designer and gallerist.
"This year, the curatorial work has been about finding links between the degree projects and highlighting common themes and the motives behind it in a clearer way.

During the exhibition we arrange various activities such as general presentations of the exhibition, Pecha Kucha with the students and open oppositions. Here you will find the entire program.

Graduation fashion show May 15
This year's graduating students at the fashion program will show their graduation collections in the Auditorium at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern on May 15.
-Fashion students are taught from the outset to relate to how the fashion world works. Students' degree projects are therefore presented in the product design of a fashion show, and in the school exhibition in the product design of a movie. After graduation, many go on to prestigious master's programs abroad. Many also go straight to work and the workplace can just as easily be Whyred as Christian Dior in Paris," says Pär Engsheden, fashion designer and program manager for Fashion.
