Design Forward pitches business ideas at Beckmans
Learned how to develop sustainable business plans
On the course, which is carried out in collaboration with the Swedish Product design and the Swedish Fashion Council, the participants have been able to hone their business ideas and develop sustainable business plans. And behind the selected companies are several former Beckmans students. One of them is Ella Westlund who graduated Product design 2017 and which is in the starting blocks of its design company that focuses on creating customized products for people with disabilities.
"It's a great course that opens so many doors and gives me the push I need to feel confident about what I'm doing," Ella says.

On Wednesday 7 February, the participants will present the results to an expert panel at Beckmans. You are welcome to listen to the company's pitches and hear what the panel thinks.
The panel includes Alexander Lervik, designer and, Anders Frostenson, CEO &co-founder Sweet Studio, Lee Cotter, co-founder of V Ave Shoe Repair and By The No, Liva Lager, Business Developer Doberman, Magnus Bergmark, Business Strategy Director Doberman, Marina Kereklidou, Creative Director Synsam, Pauline Ström Gunnér, Head of Sustainable Business Swedish Fashion Council, Sanna Sevika Hansson, designer and artist.
