The 2023 winner of the NK Young Talent Award by Beckmans is newly graduated fashion designer Saveja Awzel.

Since 2021, NK, in collaboration with Beckman College of Design, has been awarding a design prize with the aim of promoting, supporting and celebrating young designers who are on the threshold of working life after their education. Saveja Awzel, who finished her final year of the fashion program at Beckman College of Design in 2022, wins with her graduation collection 'Lost on Silk Road'.

- I am honored and grateful for the NK Young Talent Award by Beckmans which gives me the opportunity to present what I stand for and who I am as a designer. For me, the award is proof that what my creations represent is relevant and relatable. It is also proof that I can be the voice of those who seek balance in their identity in the same way as I do, which means a lot to me," continues Saveja Awzel, winner of the NK Young Talent Award by Beckmans.

The award will be presented on March 7 at Nordiska Kompaniet and presented at NK Stockholm with an exhibition in Ljusgården from March 9. The jury that each year selects the winner of the NK Young Talent Award by Beckmans consists of Pär Engsheden, Program Manager for the Fashion Program at Beckman College of Design, Annika Berner, Creative Director, and Karin Wickberg, Marketing Manager at NK.
