Nine selected Swedish websites celebrated
Nine selected Swedish websites from 2021-2024 and their creators will be celebrated on September 4 at Designbaren in Stockholm. The sites, all of which are of exceptional design quality, have been selected by a distinguished jury consisting of Anna Sagström (Brand Union, Country Music, Yale,) Adam Arinbjarnarson (Beckmans coD), Johanna Lundberg (Kurppa Hosk) and John Bengtsson (Beckmans coD, Essen, Sunday Sites).
In connection with the graduation ceremony, a web catalog is launched for in-depth study, and all pages are archived by Kulturarw3 at the Royal Library for future researchers and those interested in our digital design heritage.

SWEDISH WEB ART is a declaration of love for the web, which 36 years after its birth continues to embrace the personal and the commercial, the experimental and the professional.

It hardly costs anything to publish on, it is owned by everyone and no one and for that very reason is perhaps more important than ever to safeguard in times of AI bots and troll factories," says Peter Ström.
The project is the result of an artistic research project within the framework of archiving and preservation of digital media by Peter Ström, Associate Professor of Visual Communication at Beckman College of Design.
