Robin Söderholm in Designers' Nest at Copenhagen Fashion Week

Beckmans alumni and fashion, degree2020, degree project

Fashion designer Robin Söderholm graduated from the fashion program at Beckmans last spring. Now he competes with his graduation collection in the talent incubator Designers' Nest at Copenhagen Fashion Week.

The fluid degree collection explores gender-neutral fashion and asks whether it is the forms themselves that are gender neutral or if it is the wearer that influences the feeling. Romantic pleating is combined with more stereotypical masculine references in colorful creations.

Digital show at CPHFW on February 2

In a digital show at Copenhagen Fashion Week (CPHFW) on February 2 at 18.00-18.20, his collection is presented together with nine others created by newly graduated BA and MA students from Aalto University, the Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo, The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and the Swedish School of Textiles in Borås.

The finalists and their graduation collections have been selected based on originality, creativity and craftsmanship and are judged by a hand-picked international jury. This year, among other things, there is the chance to win 6 months of paid internship in Bottega Veneta's studio in Milan. Read more about this year's gains here.
