Aida Chehrehgosha, artist, and Laslo Strong, graphic designer, are new teachers at Beckmans.

Aida Chehrehgosha Assistant Professor of Artistic Design

Aida Chehrehgosha has a wide range of experience in art, advertising, film and still photography.

-With my multifaceted professional background, I hope to share my personal experiences and knowledge with the next generation of creators. My ambition is to be a safe support for students, so that they can develop their unique voice and build a healthy approach and confidence in creation. The goal is for them to be better equipped for the challenges that arise in the creative processes," she says.

The subject of artistic design at Beckmans spans all three programs - product design, fashion and visual communication.

Laslo Strong Lecturer in Visual Communication

Laslo Strong is a member of the graphic design studio Our Polite Society, which works with international clients in the arts and culture sector. Alongside commissioned projects, they conduct research into the history of design and typography, investigations that are often the starting point for developing experimental concepts for graphic identities, typefaces, printed matter, digital platforms and spatial design.

With a background in four different education programs in Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden, Laslo Strong has a broad experience of different educational approaches and methods.

-I hope that students will benefit from my international perspectives and references and methods in graphic design and typography. In each new collaboration, I learn something about other disciplines and about my own practice as a designer. And teaching now creates a space where I can reflect on my methods, references and ideas. Getting questions and answers from Beckman's students challenges my own perspective in a productive way," he says.
