A degree project that explores opposites as a design principle is now on display in an exhibition at Svenskt Tenn.

Swedish Tenn Design Scholarship 2025

Every year, Svenskt Tenn awards a Design Scholarship to a graduation project from Beckmans, a project based on the criteria of quality, sustainability and good product design. Part of the scholarship involves showing their degree project in an exhibition at Svenskt Tenn.

Exhibition October 3-12 at Svenskt Tenn

Between October 3-12, you can see this year's Beckmans scholarship winner, Love Persson's project "Heaven and Earth". A series of furniture consisting of tables and chairs that explore opposites between stability, anxiety, soft and hard - where the personal meets the professional.

-"The work is an interpretation of my mother's thesis and our rediscovered relationship, where opposites such as security and discomfort, closeness and loss weave together a story of heritage, identity and creation. Like a collaboration between heaven and earth," says Love Persson about her project.
