Interlude– Beckman College of Design at Stockholm Furniture Fair, 7-11 February
07 February 2023
Interlude
For the sixth year in a row, the graduating students in the design programme are collaborating at Beckman College of Design with the Swedish furniture industry.
The Interlude project involves inclusive design, local production, thoughtful and carefully crafted details and a conscious use of materials. The students show a concern for both the individual and the environment, and an interest in our time. Perhaps a longing for the lasting, original, simple and honest in an increasingly troubled world is glimpsed.
To the project website Interlude
- We are incredibly grateful for the collaboration with some of Sweden's leading furniture manufacturers. With their professionalism, knowledge and generosity, they have given the students an invaluable insight into how design work can be done," says Morgan Rudberg, course coordinator at the design program.
