Beckmans students receive newly established scholarship

Selvi Albayrak and Maja Schein, who are both in their final year of the Visual Communication program, receive Essen International's Diversity Scholarship of SEK 25,000 each.

The scholarship is part of the agency's work towards a more diversified communications industry.

"Our industry is hardly known for its diversity. If there is to be a change, everyone has to do what they can, even in the smallest. That's why we at Essen have developed a scholarship that will go to two students who do not see themselves as typically representative of the world of design and communication. The money will help make their degree projects stand out and give them an extra boost into the industry," says Salma Alaca at Essen International.

Congratulations Selvi and Maja!
