Beckmansalumn competes in Designers' Nest at Copenhagen Fashion Week

The collection "The Voice of My Inner" is a personal story about breaking free from expectations and set career plans and throwing yourself into a creative life in fashion design. The classic costumes of the business world have been given a poetic expression and inner dreams burst through ruffles and floral prints.

Collection selected for both Designers' Nest and H&M Design Award

During the autumn, Jon Allensten was one of 10 finalists in the H&M Design Award. In Designers' Nest, he will meet nine recent BA and MA students from Aalto University, The School of Arts, Design and Architecture, the Danish Kolding School of Design, the Academy of Fine Arts, the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, the School of Design and the School of Textiles in Borås. The finalists and their graduation collections have been chosen based on originality, creativity and craftsmanship but also on their ability to discuss broader societal issues, and are judged by a hand-picked international jury.

The tour takes place on 28 January at 17-18 at Lokomotivværkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A.
