Beckmansalumn Sheila Johansson wins big at Roygalan

Best Commercial Director of the Year

Sheila Johansson and the production company won the prestigious award "Best Commercial of the Year" with " Remember it as yesterday" which was part of the Christmas campaign for the Swedish Cancer Society and which was also earlier this year rewarded at the Golden Egg Gala. 

In addition to this, Sheila Johansson herself was named "Best Commercial Director of the Year". In addition, she and the production company won in the category "Best Music Video" with Seinabo Seys "I Owe You Nothing". 

About Sheila Johansson

Sheila Johansson attended Beckmans Kvällsskola and then entered Advertising and Graphic product design (now Visual Communication). She graduated from Beckmans in 2011 and has since worked as an art director at McCann New York and other companies. Three years ago she started directing commercials, and after only one year as a director she received the Roygalan Newcomer of the Year award. Earlier this year, she became the first female director to win a Golden Egg in the film category, also with the film "Remember it like yesterday" for the Cancer Foundation.
