This year's star of the ELLE Deco Design Awards 2022 is Beckman alumnus Gustav Winsth

Gustav Winsth's graduation project from the Form 2021 programme, the DIO shelf, breaks with contemporary minimalism and creates a radically contemporary expression through the geometric shapes of the base. The shapes are created from recycled rubber granulate while the rest of the shelf is made of anodised aluminium.

- My work draws a lot of inspiration from the world of fashion and contemporary or future architecture, while a specific material or manufacturing technique is often the starting point," Gustav Winsth tells Elle Decoration.
