Anthology on the changing design industry nominated for book award
One of the authors of the book is Margot Barolo, program manager at Product design, who writes an article that highlights the conditions of designers today; "The designer as the useful idiot - on cultural capital, production, and power shift"
The book is an anthology and presentation of a changing design industry and is published by the association Reshaping. With different approaches and writers, design is depicted as a workplace and design that affects people's lives. The theme is power and empowerment in the design field. The power/empowerment project consists of several parts; an anthology, an exhibition, workshops and seminars.
About the Publishing Prize
The Publishing Prize is an annual jury-judged competition for films, websites, newspapers, magazines, books and other printed matter. The award has been awarded since 1990 and is independent of the industry's organizations. This year's winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on November 5.
