Allmän Lekplats

A video created in the course “Konst Reklam Konst”, acting as a playful intervention that reimagines construction sites as part of the public space.

Construction sites represent a constant occupation of the city, carried out by a vague and faceless authority. “Allmän Lekplats” explores what happens when we challenge this illegitimate takeover and reclaim these spaces for the people who actually live around them. What if, instead of fences, we build catapults? Or turn scaffolding into an obstacle course? Could a worksite become a place to make music?

The objects were modeled and simulated in Cinema 4D, then composited into real-world footage using camera tracking. Project supervised by Anneé Olofsson.
