Tre varianter av samma idé – en lampa uppbyggd kring ett enkelt men robust system inspirerat av tältets konstruktion. Lamporna saknar en förutbestämd plats – de är lätta att flytta, montera och förstå.  

Projektet tar avstamp i vardagens enkla konstruktioner och undersöker vad som händer när dessa ges ett nytt sammanhang och funktion. Med fokus på det praktiska arbetet har projektet formats i nära samspel med materialet. Genom att låta sömmar, krokar och detaljer vara synliga får konstruktion och tillverkningsprocess en central roll i lampans uttryck. Den dubblerade filterduken sprider ljuset mjukt och skapar ett subtilt skuggspel. Resultatet är tre varianter på samma struktur – med öppenhet för användarens egna tolkningar och placeringar.

 

Three variations on the same idea – a lamp supported by a simple yet robust system inspired by tent construction. These lamps are not tied to a fixed location – they are easy to assemble, move, and understand. 

The project draws from simple everyday constructions and explores what happens when they are placed in a new context and given a new function. With a focus on hands-on work, the design process evolved in close dialogue with the materials. By allowing seams, hooks, and structural elements to remain visible, the construction and manufacturing process become a key part of the lamp’s expression. The double-layered filter fabric diffuses the light softly and creates a subtle play of shadows. The result is three variations based on the same structure – offering the user freedom in both placement and interpretation.
