I have been involved in the fashion industry for several years and I am a dedicated and experienced professional and also a quick learner. I am an energetic problem solver who faces challenges until completely solved. An effective communicator, capable of giving and receiving directions in a firm, fair, honest and upfront fashion.
Throughout my BA studies, I undertook a variety of projects including textile developments with EE Exclusives in Belgium, collaborations with fashion brands such as Örjan Andersson and GANT as well as independent projects where I had the opportunity to explore my own design identity. By being involved in these projects I have gained a lot of experience in being able to work both collaboratively and as well as independently. In fashion we like to speak about a single designer as a genius but one of the most important feature I believe you should have as a designer is to be able to work in a team. I thrive from working with other professionals to be able to share my knowledge as well as learn from others. I feel that this is the most efficient way for us all to grow and develop further as individuals, both professionally and privately.
A history of broad studies within an aesthetic field has created an insatiable interest for fashion in all its shapes and forms. Especially higher craftsmanship, art and conceptual fashion. The theoretical part of fashion, as well as experimenting with the craftsmanship, is strongly rooted and a big part of my design process and something I keep exploring. My degree work has been a step in my search for a design identity, but not an attempt to define it. I never want to stagnate, or allow myself a cemented view on what I do or who I am.
I look forward to continuously working within the fashion industry and to develop myself and the industry.
