The Colorful Cave- Material experiment.

This collection is inspired by caves, specifically the Reed Flute Cave which brings the collection to life. Starting with inspiration from cave paintings, I did material experiments such as dyeing with silk paint, brushing on saddle soap and tearing fabric. Inside the cave, minerals exist in different forms that can be taken down and ground or used raw. This appears in the collection through different kinds of crystals, everything from citrine, amethyst to selenite. ’The Colorful Cave is a collection of playfulness, power and color.
