Gro

Gro is a companion to carry through life – a gift given at birth that holds memories, growth, and presence over time. 

Traditional birth gifts often lose their relevance as the child grows, ending up forgotten in a box. In collaboration with Klong, I have developed Gro – a gift one doesn’t grow out of, but rather grows with. With a head and a body, Gro takes on a character that invites play in children, while later turning into a vase or a secret container for adults.
