Ikebana

A collaboration project between Beckmans and international flooring company Forbo.

The Japanese art of Ikebana floral arrangements denotes that the arranger pay as much attention to the careful placement of flowers as to the empty space surrounding them. By combining organic forms of floral motifs and abstract shapes, with geometric squares and grids – my two floor patterns reflect the feeling of balance and harmony that alludes to the Ikebana and Japanese zen philosophy.
