FIELD JACKET M65
Army jacket, also called field jacket or M65, was introduced in1965 as a development of the American field uniform and was a uniform jacket in the American troops during The Vietnam War since it was durable and protected against wind and rain. It was created by Alpha Industries using MLC-C4355 standards. From early 70`s other fashion company’s started to create their own variants of the jacket e.g. Ralph Luren. These were never used by the military
I chose to depict the jacket in a feminine silhouette together with a dramatic long skirt to diverge from the primary association
