Body as Landscape

My collection explores topography and how shifting landscapes unfold through contouring lines. These lines take shape on the body through pleating and knits, where some rise while others fall. The colors of the hand-felted fabric draw their inspiration from the colored neps within the knitted yarn, translated into softer yellows and greens that evoke earth and terrain. Together, they bind the materials through a shared sense of rhythm, texture, and unfolding landscape.

I min kollektion har jag med hjälp av materialexperiment försökt undersöka hur man med hjälp av topografiska metoder kan skapa linjer och nivåskillnader på kropp. Den topografiska idén om linjer som symbol för höjd, har korsats med traditionella metoder som plissering och stickning, för att förkroppsliga kartan och sudda gränsen mellan människa och landskap.
