Window Shopping - Fashion Collaboration

Beckmans will take part in Copenhagen Fashion Week (CPHFW) for the first time, presenting the project Window Shopping – Fashion Collaboration on 29–30 January.

“For a few days in January, Copenhagen becomes the fashion capital of the world and an important platform for our students, giving them the opportunity to engage with an international audience. With its focus on sustainability, CPHFW also plays a significant role in putting sustainability firmly on the agenda,” says Karina Ericsson Wärn, President of Beckmans College of Design.

13 collection concepts developed in collaboration with Swedish fashion companies

At CPHFW, graduating Fashion students present the project Window Shopping – Fashion Collaboration: 13 new collection concepts developed in collaboration with six Swedish fashion companies taking a forward-looking approach to sustainability: Axel Arigato, Filippa K, Hope, House of Dagmar, Nudie Jeans and Rave Review. Through their collections, the students interpret each brand through their own creative ideas and aesthetics, creating new synergies.

Presentation at Axel Arigato in Copenhagen

The collections will be presented alongside the students’ portfolios at our partner Axel Arigato. The exhibition is open to the public on 29–30 January. Presentation (by invitation only) on 29 January, 16:30–21:00. Address: Pilestraede 16, Copenhagen K.
