Beckmans launches new website in collaboration with EY Doberman

Beckmans College of Design has launched a completely new version of beckmans.se. The new website was created in collaboration with EY Doberman, who led the entire process—from the underlying structure and design through to final development.

A long-awaited step forward from the old website
The previous website was almost a decade old and no longer met the school’s needs. It was difficult for the organisation to manage and was not designed around how people navigate and engage with information today. With the launch of the new site, Beckmans leaves an outdated structure behind and moves into a contemporary digital environment where content can work as it should. The website also has a clearer focus, with certain types of content now better served by other, purpose-built platforms.

A focus on prospective students
The new website has a clearer structure, making it much quicker for prospective students to find the information that matters most. The content has been reviewed, streamlined and simplified to make navigation intuitive.

A flexible foundation for the future
As well as improving the visitor experience, the new platform makes a significant difference to the school’s day-to-day work. The website is now much easier and more efficient to manage, helping to keep its content fresh and up to date. New features and sections can be added easily as the school’s needs evolve. The launch is therefore not an endpoint, but the beginning of a dynamic digital presence.
