Sunday Sites
Sunday Sites is an initiative that encourages us to express ourselves through HTML and CSS instead of being limited to text and images in predetermined templates. By using coding as a social activity, the project has become a gathering place for the curious, the experienced and the novice – a context where they have an opportunity to work on, discuss and demonstrate their creations through HTML-based art, design and interactive poetry.
A couple of sundays a month, we meet on Zoom and write HTML for around two hours. Each session is guided by an instruction, for example: “Pick a song you like and make a site based on its title.” After two hours, we present our creations and talk a little about how we made them. No prior coding experience is required – we help each other out.
Thanks to all the participants
