Former Beckmans student Anna Spånberg, who graduated from the fashion program in 2015, is also one of the recipients of the scholarship. The scholarship means that they win SEK 40,000 and SEK 30,000 respectively and that they have been able to produce and shoot the collections that they won with.

Amanda Rascka is also up to date with her debut collection from Beckmans, which will be shown in a digital lookbook, a filmed fashion show, and a showroom at the school on November 26-27.

About the scholarship

The scholarship was established by Salomon Dahan, CEO and founder of House of Saki – a fashion house based in Skåne with the brands Saki Sweden, Stand Studio and Rock and Blue. He had long thought about how best to instill faith in the future in the next generation of fashion designers and decided to institute a scholarship together with the Habit: Rock and Blue Design Award.

The jury that has chosen the winners are Salomon Dahan, Margareta van den Bosch, former chief designer at H&M, Sandra Karlsson, chief designer at Rock and Blue, Eva Due pr and communications manager at House of Saki, and Kajsa Åström, editor-in-chief of Habit.

Congratulations from us on Beckmans!
