On beckmans.se/materialtales you will see the collections and fashion show film.
For press and industry, a showroom at the school is open to a few visitors at a time between 26-27 November.
-In the debut collections, students have worked on creating fashion magic from their own materials. The focus has been on exploring and finding unique materials and then creating product design, shapes and fashion, trying out different techniques to find their own expressions and then building up shapes and silhouettes. Through experimentation, research, sketching and draping, the materials have been taken further, to form their own styles and fashion designs that go beyond the given, the first thought, to something completely new, says Göran Sundberg, lecturer in fashion design and responsible for the course.
