Open lecture with Swedish Girls
October 14, 2025
Moving between art, design and architecture
Swedish Girls is the alias of the artist duo Mira Bergh (b. 1993) and Josefin Zachrisson (b. 1994). Based between Milan and Stockholm, they work conceptually and experimentally with objects and installations. With an interest in interaction, materiality and the absurdities of everyday life, they move between art, design and architecture.
Met at Beckmans
Swedish Girls have collaborated since graduating from Beckman College of Design in 2019 and their work has been presented at institutions and platforms such as ArkDes (Stockholm, 2022), Stockholm Konst (Stockholm, 2021), Röhsska museet (Göteborg, 2024), Kunsthal Aarhus (Aarhus, 2023), Marit Biennalen (Madrid, 2022) and Alcova (Milan, 2021-2025).
