On August 1, 2022, Beckmans moved to AGA on Lidingö. The building is Swedish industrial history and with its space and light, the mighty brick building from 1912 is perfect for creative work.
Workplaces and workshops
Beckmans offers a safe, sustainable and stimulating environment with flexible spaces and labs where disciplines, students, staff and visitors can meet and develop.
All students at Beckman College of Design have their own workspace and access to project rooms, workshops and studios relevant to their course. The latter include wood and metal modeling workshops and 3D printers, knitting workshop, photo studio, computer labs, cutting and editing rooms, sewing room, and draping studio.
Common areas
The auditorium, croquis hall, and lecture halls are common spaces used for everything from project work to exhibitions.
Library
In Beckman's library you will find specialist literature and international journals in our fields of design, fashion and visual communication.
