Anna Norling and Oskar Pernefeldt new members of the Board
About Anna Norling
Anna Norling has worked in the H&M group for a large part of her career, the last 15 years in various leadership roles within design, assortment and brand. For the past few years she has been a regular guest teacher and tutor at Beckmans, where she also attended the fashion course in 1991-94.
-I am driven by creative leadership, development and sustainability! I believe and hope that with my experience I can contribute with a strong drive in creative learning and development and initiate that the school collaborates more as a creative collective with companies, other schools and external creators, says Anna Norling.

About Oskar Pernefeldt
Oskar Pernefeldt is a multiple award-winning art director who graduated from Beckman's Visual Communication program as recently as 2015.
-I am the fourth person in my family to study at Beckmans. While this is something I'm very proud of, it also highlights a problem in the industry. The lack of diversity in the creative professions is something that needs to be addressed early on, even at earlier stages than college level. The fact that I will also be the youngest member of the board is also a perspective I hope to contribute. Of course, I have my own experience of the school's ability to prepare students for the future, but I have also seen first-hand how other recent alumni have taken their steps into the working world,' says Oskar Pernefeldt.
Alongside his work, he also runs The International Flag of Planet Earth Organization (based in the US), which works to ensure that the Earth has its own flag. He also sits on the management team of Bergh's AD/Copy line as an advisor and sounding board.
