Leif Sorte new chairman of the Beckman College of Design
Beckman College of Design is state-funded and owned by the Beckman College of Design Foundation. On August 31, 2022, Leif Sorte, CEO of Forsman & Bodenfors, was elected as Chairman of the Board of Beckmans College of Design, succeeding Leif Pagrotsky.
- During my almost 30 years in the business, I have always felt a great love for creativity. I am passionate about strong ideas, design and craftsmanship and know how crucial these elements are for successful brands. These are exactly the cornerstones of the Beckman training programme. That's why I'm delighted to be involved in developing Beckman's position as one of the world's best schools for creative talent," says Chairman Leif Sorte.
Leif Sorte has worked for Forsman & Bodenfors for the past 20 years in various management roles. He has previously been CEO of the brand and design agency Happy F&B and is currently CEO of the Forsman & Bodenfors Group in Sweden and President of Forsman & Bodenfors. Before joining Forsman & Bodenfors, Leif Sorte worked for a long time in the Swedish retail sector, including the role of Marketing Manager for Nordiska Kompaniet.
- With Leif Sorte's deep knowledge of creative work - and new premises in AGA's old industry on Lidingö adapted to a cutting-edge education in design - I feel like I've been hit by positive travel fever," says Beckman's Vice-Chancellor Karina Ericsson Wärn.
- Now we're gearing up with the goal of becoming one of the world's best schools for design!
