All Schools should be art schools. - Bob and Roberta Smith
From the circular economy to AI, there is a lot for a designer to consider. 3D printing a house is commonplace, as is wearing Balenciaga from head to toe, at least in the video game 'afterworld: the age of tomorrow'. At a recent tech fair focusing on the future, the question was asked: what if an AI wins an Oscar for best director? Replace "if" with "when". Taken together, this means that the future is bright for Beckmans graduates from Product design, Fashion and Visual Communication, programs that rest on artistic foundations. Rarely have creative minds and craft skills been more important, without it no new innovations. So just agree with Bob & Roberta Smith (if you don't know: ask ChatGPT)!
