Wasim Harwill – A house without a date palm is not a home
A postage stamp enables a movement from one place to another, like a passport for people who migrate. But what does it mean to leave your home and be transported to a place that neglects you and who is responsible for parcels that never find their way home?

Program: Visual Communication
Graduation year: 2023
Jury's motivation
A home is not a house. This work tests and examines what homes are in relation to the people who have once been forced to leave their homes. With a poetic touch, this is a project relevant to the present and strongly conceptually based in which a stamp becomes the bearer of dreams, longings and movements.
Anna Herrmann – Fifty shades of rotkohl
I wanted to create an alternative to traditional dyes, something solvent-free, without the microplastics that are released into the environment during the aging process of conventional paints. I was inspired by the ancient art of dyeing textiles with natural ingredients and developed a method that also works for dyeing wood.

Program: Product design
Year of graduation: 2019
Jury's motivation
By focusing on plant dyeing, this experimentation has provided a refining alternative to today's surface treatments of furniture. Through various processes, red cabbage can give rise to a number of different colours where the wood through dyeing gets beautiful patterns that elevate the objects and create a dynamic between colour and colour. product design.
