Collaboration with six recognized sports brands
Sport Psyche – Fashion Collaboration are eleven new collection concepts designed by the graduating students at the Fashion Program together with six prominent sports brands: Equestrian Stockholm, Filippa K Soft Sport, Galvin Green, Houdini, Pelle P and Stutterheim. The brands represent a breadth of the industry, with expertise in widely different sports fields, from golf to equestrian sports.
"There are no longer any boundaries between sports and fashion, today sports is fashion," he said. In this project, the students have collaborated with sports companies active in a wide range of sports fields. They have investigated function and how sport and design can be combined. By putting even more focus on design, we believe the sports industry can raise the bar in the industry even further," says Pär Engsheden, Program Manager for the Fashion Program.
Fashion film and graphic identity of students in Visual Communication
The project is also a collaboration with eight students in Visual Communication who have developed a graphic identity for the project that includes fashion film, lookbook in digital and printed product design, web, art direction and material for social media.
"The results of the course are a graphic identity that is an interpretation of the fashion world, where fashion is sport and sport is fashion," he said. The method of the course is collaboration. Between the fashion brands and the fashion students and the fashion students and the VK students. In this collaboration, they have practiced important knowledge for collaboration: being able to drive a project forward, to be responsive, to communicate within the group and not least: to have fun together, says Samira Bouabana, Program Manager Visual Communication.
