Åke E:son Lindman photographs Beckmans

Beckmans

Åke E:son Lindman, one of Sweden's most sought-after architectural and interior photographers, has visited Beckmans and photographed the university's new premises.

Through his eye for portraying spatiality and architecture, Beckman's unique environment has now been depicted. The result is a collection of images that draw on the industrial history of the premises, with environments and modern resources that contribute to a cutting-edge design education.

-Ihave always appreciated industrial architecture and have often sought it out. Several of my older studios have been in old industrial premises and for the past six months I have been living in the old Chocolate Factory on Kungsholmen from 1922. Much appreciated!

That's why it was a great honour to photograph Beckman's new interiors, which interact so well with the period architecture of the old AGA factory," says Åke E:son Lindman.
